So some of the team met today, April 12, to check in about next steps. It stills very much that we are in sensing phase. What does this initiative really want to become? How can it add value to what is already out there?

One key output was the decision to focus on engaging citizens through a “citizen’s scorecard” that aligns people’s activities behind the core of what needs to be done. It would identify what the main differences are that citizens can make, and allow people to compare their progress in contributing to these challenges (individually, or across communities). This should act as leverage to pull in organisations who can offer products and services to people, as the online meshwork develops a marketplace. Ultimately re-purposing human activity behind what needs to be done for a sustainable future.

Next steps include:

* find the best analyses of systemic acupuncture points for the global transition
* find the best lists of areas that citizens can focus on to really make a difference
* find the visions for the Netherlands that already exist

As part of this we will continue an exploration with Treemagotchi of how to collaborate, particularly as they have such a great interface to simulate sustainable behaviour change.
